Adesso is an Italian wine bar that serves up some tasty Italian small plates. They host an apertivi hour from 5-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday (with the purchase of a drink; you can graze on the buffet of little bites). You can find a similar offering from 10:30-11:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and until midnight Thursday-Saturday. The wine list includes over 25 Italian wines by the glass and plenty more in bottles. They also make some good cocktails.

Marc 49 is a cozy little wine bar with a heated outdoor patio and cool back room that is reminiscent of an old west saloon. They have an affordable selection of wines by the glass, by the bottle and some good beers on tap.

On Zza’s new website, for their trattoria & wine bar, you can order take out or delivery. Since Zza’s opened their wine bar, in 2007, it has become a neighborhood favorite with an international selection of 60+ wines. The list includes reds, whites, sparkling and they have flights. Most wines at Zza’s are available by the 3-ounce taste, 6-ounce glass, or by the bottle.

Vine specializes in California boutique wineries. You can find Bonny Doon, Saintsbury, Shannon Ridge, Plumpjack, D Cubed, Robert Craig, Dharma, JC Cellars and Old Ghost. Tasting pours are available from Vine’s wine list and Enomatic wine-dispensing machines, 4-ounce glasses (between $7 to $17) and full bottles.
