Bar Lata, in the Temescal neighborhood, features Spanish tapas, some entrees including paellas and Spanish wines. It’s located in a corner (Telegraph @49th St.) near the Marc 49 and across from Dona Tomas and Pizzaiolo.
Chef Owner Daniel Olivella from Catalonia, Spain, is also the owner of B44 Catalan Bistro, located on trendy Belden Place in San Francisco’s financial district.
B44 opened in 1999 to rave reviews from local food critics and has been bestowed various honors over the years including San Francisco’s Rising star Chef of The Year and twice USA Today’s Top 20 Dishes in America.

I’m looking forward to this spot. Does anyone know anything about the little spot that’s opening up next to A Cote on College ave?
I heard they’re opening this week wed night 03/11/09. I’m excited to try it too. I remember seeing a request for an alcohol license on the window next to A Cote but I forget what it was for. I’ll go by and check soon.
